Michael Isaac Ripple is a professional oboist and university educator based in Memphis, Tennessee. He offers online and in-person oboe lessons, reedmaking instruction, masterclasses, professional and student oboe reeds, performances, and original compositions.
Handmade Oboe Reed, tied on a 47 mm Advantage Pro Brass staple.
These reeds are made from hand selected and processed cane, and shaped on a Pfeifer-Mack shaper tip. They have consistent, effortless response, an even, warm tone across all registers, and great projection. These are made over the course of multiple days, and play at the highest level of demand.
